GS Hospitality Connections was established on September 1, 1998 with a dream and vision to take the 25 years of the hotel/ hospitality industry experience and open a company that would provide additional sales and marketing support to independent and unique hotels/resorts. The second component that evolved due to the large network of industry professionals and the enjoyment to create ‘memorable' special events and meetings, was to provide a 'one stop shopping' service in event management support for project managers, administrative assistants, meeting planners based in corporations and associations across North America.

Achievement Highlights:

1999-Present: Project Manager for Novo Nordisk Canada Inc. and LifeScan Canada Ltd. (a Johnson and Johnson Company) for the opening welcome reception of the Canadian Diabetes Association Convention and Tradeshow hosted across Canada. Project entails coordination of all the logistics of the evening from theme development to the overall production of the entertainment. On-site management for any additional meetings/functions for Novo Nordisk Canada and LifeScan Canada throughout the conference dates.

2002 and 2003: Producer for the Canadian National Exhibition Heritage Festival Program for the Toronto German Community. A ten hour production with over 500 performers from Toronto German Cultural groups and European talent. 4,000 guests attended each event.

1998 and 1999: Project Meeting Manager for the Advanced Card Technology Association of Canada Annual Conference and Tradeshow. Hired by CEO/President as an outside marketing consultant to assist in creative marketing strategies to improve Conference and Tradeshow attendance and assist in the sponsorship drive, conduct research and contract negotiations in search of the conference venue. Also played key role between ACT Canada and the chosen hotel venue as project logistics manager and on-site manager during the conference dates.

1996: Project Event Manager for the Harmonie Brass Show Band tour to Walt Disney 25th Anniversary Magic Music Days, Orlando , Florida

1992 and 1993: Chairperson, Canadian National Institute for the Blind Fundraising Project. Created, implemented, and produced ‘Into the Night' Gala Event and raised $50,000
